As part of the team at Signal and Noise, I was asked to explore concepts for a vehicle that runs on both electric and hybrid fuels. As a team, we explored 3 concepts from nature, biology, and the animal world.

Approach

I started by learning more about how the engine actually worked. After watching many interviews and various documentation, I had some understanding of the process.

I then explored Nissan and hybrid engine forums to get a feel for the audience, their views and the language they use.

Once I had a grasp of the product and the audience, I met with the team to discuss possible art directions. We came up with 3 concepts and moved forward with the best.
